Fuet, tomato and mozzarella wrap

The rolled-up sandwich. The freshness of the salad is combined with the distinctive taste of the fuet, thus obtaining a light sandwich with its own personality that will please young and old alike. Perfect for sharing.

Step by step:

1. Peel the tomato, drain the water, remove the seeds and dice it finely. Drain the liquid from the mozzarella and cut it into small cubes like the tomato. Place it all in a bowl together with the basil leaves torn into small pieces by hand. Season with a little salt, freshly ground pepper and half a spoonful of olive oil. Stir. 2. Cut some slices of fuet as thinly as you can; cut each slice into two or three pieces to add them to the other ingredients. Add them to the salad. 3. Take a wheat tortilla, spread the mixture over the middle and roll it carefully. Heat a non-stick frying pan and lightly toast the wrap, initially positioning the cut side downwards to prevent any unrolling. Turn it until it goes golden brown on all its sides; this will take no longer than a couple of minutes. Serve hot.

Ingredients:

Fuet 1-2 wheat tortillas (depending on the size) ½ tomato ½ a mozzarella ball A couple of fresh basil leaves, salt, pepper and olive oil
